Today, on International Paramedics Day, we celebrate the extraordinary men and women who answer the call when lives are on the line.
This year's theme, "Innovate & Integrate," recognises the power of innovation and collaboration in delivering lifesaving care.
We proudly salute all paramedics for their courage, compassion and unwavering commitment to serving humanity.
Thank you for being there when it matters most.

At the Beitbridge Reception Centre, buses continue to arrive carrying Zimbabwean nationals returning from South Africa after last week's anti-migrant protests. They arrive exhausted, anxious, and uncertain of what tomorrow holds.
In these difficult moments, Team Red is standing side by side with the Government of Zimbabwe and other humanitarian partners to ensure no one faces this journey alone.
Emboldened by the support from partners we will be able to provide urgent humanitarian assistance and essential relief items. But our mission goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We are helping restore dignity, reconnect families through our Restoring Family Links programme, and support survivors as they begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives.
Aiming to reach around 5,000 returnees this initiative is truly proving that humanity has the power to restore hope.

Mankobole Dip Tank and Mupambe Piped Water schemes in Binga, were commissioned yesterday and handed over to the respective communities bringing a huge relief to water woes and wading off the big threat of tick-borne disease. Officiated by the Binga District Development Coordinator, Land Kabome who was standing in for Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Matabeleland North Richard Moyo, the event marked another important step towards building community resilience to climate change.
The two projects, implemented under the Climate Smart Resilience (CSR) project which was supported by the Finnish Red Cross Society and Danish Red Cross Society, were identified and prioritised by the communities themselves.
