The realisation and equality of all humans is a prerequisite for societal development. WTA joins the world in celebrating and to continue spreading the importance of gender equality in today's world. Women all over the world are disadvantaged in society, politics, families, economies and other facets and this has largely exposed to poverty, abuse and other vulnerabilities. Today is the day to bring everyone on board continue the work of improving the situation of women. This work should continue all year round and not limited to 8 March only.
