This year we are again collaborating with the most selfless medical specialists l know in Zimbabwe , Dr R Makondo, Dr I Mutangadura and rolling out Skin Cancer screening medical outreaches targeting Gokwe, Masvingo and Bulawayo. These proffessionals have pledged their services for free, we are also targeting at least 400 persons with albinism

Screening will be free of charge to everyone with albinsim.
Services offered are as follows
⚕️Skin Examinations
⚕️Cryotherapy
⚕️Surgeries on site
⚕️Biopsies
⚕️Skin Care Awareness
⚕️Basic Training to local health personel on albinism, clinical management of lesions and wounds promoting early treatment pathways.

Im calling for like minded supporters of the Albinism Konnect Skin Cancer Prevention programs to partner with us in any way. So far we need the following.

My name is Marvellous Tshuma also known here as Queen of BaTonga. Ndauyawo nechikumbiro on behalf of our dear brother Siphosenkosi Ndlovu from Nkayi rural who is fighting life threatening skin cancer on the neck since 2021. Today he came to our offices with his wife looking for assistance. He says he went to Parirenyatwa Hospital to try and seek assistance last month but he could not get any due to the fact that the MRI Machines there was not working and he was asked to do diagnostics at private labs. He came back to Bulawayo at Miplo Hospital the story is the same, the machines are not working. Each day without the scan is already too much. Last week we took him to Lancet to inquire about the potential costs of the Head and neck CT Scan and the Chest, abdomen + Pelvis scan, the prices are quite high. We're reaching out for urgent help. He has done 6 Chemotherapy cycles at Mpilo hospital but nothing changed and that’s when he was referred to Parirenyatwa Hospital for Radio Therapy. Our brother is in deep pain, lm told he doesn’t sleep most of the nights as a result.

I’m therefore appealing to well-wishers out there who are able to assist my dear brother with payment of the following tests required for him to begin Radiotherapy in Harare

CT Scan Chest + Abdomen + Pelvis = $400.00
FBC, UEC, LFT = $70.00

🌞 VIKELA FREE SKIN CANCER SCREENING OUTREACH PROGRAMME 🌞 BULAWAYO
The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care and Mpilo Central Hospital, warmly invites people with albinism in Bulawayo and surrounding areas to a Free Skin Cancer Screening Outreach.

📅 Date: 13 December 2025
🕗 Time: 08:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: Mpilo Central Hospital

This important initiative aims to promote early detection and management of skin cancer while supporting the well-being of persons with albinism.

✅ Accommodation- take note WE DO NOT have accomodation for those who would want to stay overnight.

✅ TRANSPORT

- Participants will only receive a complementary $5 transport reimbursement to assist with travel costs. Any other extra cost will be the responsibility of the participant.

✅ FEEDING

- Only lunch will be provided for all attendees who will be offered meal cards. Only one caregiver will be allowed to get a meal for those with children or assisting someone.

✅SUN PROTECTION

We will be distributing free sunscreen, lip balms, and sunhats to help protect against harmful sun exposure.

✅SCREENING SERVICES

Specialist Dermatologists, Surgeons and other medical professionals will be on-site offering:

- Free Consultations

- Free Skin Examinations

- Free Cryotherapy and biopsies

- Free Surgeries (where necessary)

- Health Education,

- Free BP and Diabetes testing
