We are so proud of our girls who have successfully completed the first phase of their Introduction to Sewing programme under 🧵🪡✨
This is not the end of the journey, but a beautiful first step. They are now moving on to the next phase, where they will continue developing their confidence, creativity, and ability to build skills for their future. As an organisation we are incredibly proud of how far they have come and we remain committed to walking alongside them and supporting their future endeavours.

We had a great time out in Nkayi recently, distributing baby and toddler clothing for moms with children under four, thanks to our sponsors Project Love.
It was so rewarding to see the impact firsthand!! The kids were happy, the mothers of course were relieved and grateful, and for us it’s always an honor to do our part in making life a bit better for families in our community!! A big thank you to Project Love for partnering with us on this!✨

What an amazing time of devotion with our Khanya girls from Dakamela. ✨ We journeyed through the story of Esther and watched One Night with the King, reflecting on what it truly means to be called for such a time as this. One thing we continue to remind our girls is that purpose requires participation. There are things God has placed within us, opportunities He brings before us and doors He opens, but we must be willing to say yes, to prepare, to obey and to step forward. So often, what God wants to do through our lives is not only about us, but about the people He has called us to impact. Our prayer is to see these girls launched into purpose, understanding who they are in God, recognising what He has placed in their hands and having the courage to walk boldly in it. Perhaps they too have been positioned for such a time as this. ✨

We continue to distribute clothing to our elderly, and we are so grateful to see the difference this support has made, especially during the harsh winter months! 🤍 We are deeply thankful to Project Love Project Love for their continued support and generosity!! What may seem like a simple donation has reached so many lives and brought warmth, soooo much dignity and care to our communities. We are so excited and grateful to have been able to send 15 young girls from Khanya Be the Light to the Regional Youth Camp Arise Youth Group from Nkayi. We are soooo thankful to all our sponsors and partners who made this possible, not only by assisting with the camp fees, but also by providing the additional items needed for the girls’ comfort, upkeep, and basic needs throughout their time at camp. Most of all, we are grateful for the beautiful testimonies that have come back from the girls and for hearing how impactful their time at the camp was.

There is no greater joy than serving the Lord!! As an organization we’re so grateful for the opportunity to minister and share His love with the students from Hadane Secondary School in Nkayi. We are also soooo grateful for donations that we have received recently that have helped us make a positive impact in taking care of educational needs!! May God continue His great work in each of our girls. 🙏

What a humbling experience it was to serve the elderly and those in need in the Dakamela community. Through the generosity of Project Love, we were able to distribute clothing to those who needed it most, but our greatest desire was that they would encounter Jesus! What began as a distribution became so much more…. We witnessed the Lord move beautifully through prayer, healing, restoration, and salvation, and we saw God touch lives in ways we have never experienced before as an organisation. 🙌
As Khanya, this reminded us that the work is bigger than one generation! We are not only called to reach young girls, but also to model before them what it means to carry compassion, honour, and responsibility for the community. We are truly grateful to Project Love for always remembering us, considering Zimbabwe, and sending quality donations that continue to reach those who need them most. We are also grateful to the community leadership and everyone who helped make this outreach possible. May Jesus be glorified through every seed of love, every prayer, and every life touched!! 🙌🙌

We had a time of devotion with the girls, reflecting on the life of Esther and what it means to be called for such a time as this.

Sis Me spoke about Esther’s background, how she had lost both her parents and was raised by Mordecai, yet she did not allow that to define her. She did not say, “because I don’t have parents, I cannot be used” or limit herself because of where she came from. She was not insecure in her position, but carried herself with a sense of identity and confidence that came from her relationship with God.

Esther’s life showed that impact does not start when you arrive somewhere, it starts in the years of building with God. Esther did not suddenly begin seeking God when she became queen. There had already been a foundation. This is what gave her the strength to fast, seek the Lord, and take the risk to approach the king. Without that relationship, that kind of decision and impact would not have been possible!

Sis Me also shared on the importance of not feeling sorry for ourselves, but choosing to invest in our inner man. That there is so much that can come out of a life that is built over time.

Pst Smartt, our special guest, also shared on the importance of having a personal relationship with God and how it shapes one’s life. He then gave the girls an opportunity for salvation and prayed with them. ✨
