🇿🇼Congratulations to our incredible team of four rangers! 🇿🇼
Yesterday they took on the gruelling 21km Tusk Wildlife Ranger Challenge, carrying a 22kg backpack, in full Ranger uniform and boots, through temperatures of 30+°C.
They pushed through every kilometre not simply as a race, but to represent rangers across Africa — the men and women who work tirelessly to protect and preserve our wildlife and wild spaces.
And what an incredible achievement, 2 hours 24 minutes!
We could not be prouder of these four men and the dedication, strength and determination they have shown.

Meet the Team... and Their Personal Trainer, Shingi! 🦏
Introducing our team of four dedicated rangers, along with their personal trainer, Shingi the rhino calf. While She may not be leading the workouts, she's certainly been keeping a close eye on the team's preparations for the Tusk Wildlife Ranger 21 km Backpack Challenge!
Each ranger will carry a 22 kg backpack over 21 km, representing the weight of the equipment they often carry while protecting wildlife in the field.
This challenge is about far more than physical endurance. It's about honouring the resilience, commitment, and sacrifice of the men and women who stand on the front line of conservation every single day.
Every step they take helps raise awareness and vital funds to support wildlife rangers and the incredible work they do to protect our natural heritage.

Today we honor our wildlife heroes on World Ranger Day 2026.
To the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our wildlife, preserving wild places, and standing on the front line of conservation, thank you. Your courage, commitment, and sacrifice ensure that future generations will continue to experience the beauty of the natural world.
Today, we remember those who have lost their lives in the line of duty and celebrate those who continue to serve with unwavering dedication. We especially remember our own Knowledge, who tragically lost his life while protecting the wildlife and wilderness he loved. His bravery, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and his legacy continues to inspire us every day.
Today, and every day, we stand with rangers around the world.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Nicholas and members of the SAVE African Rhino Foundation.

During their visit, we held a Ranger ceremony where several of our rangers were awarded certificates in recognition of their bravery and success in taking down a group of renowned poachers in December 2025 . The team also had the opportunity to witness our new recruits in training — even joining in and participating alongside them.

We extend our sincere thanks for your generous donations and for taking the time to visit and experience the work being carried out on the ground. Your continued support makes a truly meaningful difference to our conservation efforts.
