Council of Social Workers Zimbabwe The CSW is a regulatory body established in 2001 under the Social Workers Act Chap. 27:21 to register and regulate the practice of social work in Zimbabwe.

This Page is meant to achieve the following:

1. Be a social interface of the Council with all Social Workers,Social Work Stakeholders and friends of the Council
2. Be a platform for dissemination of social work news
3. Be a platform of sending suggestions that can improve our service delivery as the Council
4. Be a channel for social work advocacy programmes

This year’s theme, “Co-Building Hope and Harmony,” highlights the incredible work social workers do every day bringing hope, fostering unity, and creating positive change in our communities.

The day served as an important reminder of the dedication, compassion, and resilience of social workers, who work tirelessly to support individuals, families, and communities, often in challenging circumstances. Their role remains vital in promoting social justice, protecting the vulnerable, and strengthening community well-being.
