As Africa Freedom Day approaches, we shine a spotlight on one of Africa’s most revolutionary and fearless leaders Thomas Sankara.

His leadership embodied boldness, truth and inclusiveness. He stood for the people, challenged injustice and pursued solutions that placed the welfare of citizens at the center of governance.

At Panga Njila Movement under the leadership of Emmanuel Matoka Facilitator, we draw inspiration from such transformative leadership. With young people at the heart of our vision, we believe leadership must not only inspire direction, but also deliver solutions that respond to the real needs of the people.
