The Red Rhino Trust Zambia was founded by Nathaly and Gue Gloeggler Wagner for ecosystem conservation through education and protection of the pristine Zambian nature. To visualize the dream of an intact ecosystem we used the Rhino as a flagship species whose last known home was Lavushi Manda National park. However, the very last Rhino was poached in the late 1980’s and poaching has remained a seve

re problem in this area to date. As a last resort people have been relocated from the National Park but with few to no financial alternatives. Therefore, as a way of assisting the local people, we established a quality Junior Secondary School for the Lavushi Manda area to educate and empower the people.
