For seven years, Caritas Monze has been instrumental in providing legal aid services to the communities of Mazabuka, Zimba and Itezhi tezhi, with a particular emphasis on the most Vulnerable through various Methods such as Mediation, Legal information, Dissemination, legal Education and Legal Advice alongside Strategic partnerships with the Legal Aid Board, Judiciary, Zambia Correctional services, Zambia police and the National prosecution Authority.
This partnership has yielded positive results which include expedited court processes, enhanced legal knowledge, legal rights awareness, increase in the reporting of GBV cases and a reduction in property grabbing.
Caritas Monze looks to further empower communities by training more paralegals and solidifying partnerships, ensuring sustained access to justice and peace.
The organization acknowledges the tireless efforts of the paralegals and the support from partners such as GIZ and the European Union.

Caritas Monze embarked on an assessment initiative in Bweengwa constituency, where the team had a fruitful interaction with flood victims, gaining a deeper understanding of the extensive challenges and damage they have experienced.
Caritas Monze continues engaging with other stakeholders in ensuring that the flood victims receive the much needed support.
