From 2017 till now, I just want to say thank you to CHIPEMBELE Wildlife Education Trust 🙏🏾🌍

You didn’t just teach me about wildlife—you changed the way I see the world. You inspired my passion for conservation and gave me purpose.

Because of your impact, today I’m at CBU studying Natural Resources Management and Climate Change, focused on sustainable use of our natural resources and finding real solutions to climate change.

Your work truly transforms lives. I am living proof.

Thank you for believing in young people like me. The journey continues…

DID YOU KNOW
chameleons can move their eyes independently, allowing them to look in two different directions at the same time? 👀 This amazing ability helps them hunt insects and avoid danger, playing a vital role in keeping nature balanced. 🌿🐜

But these unique creatures are under threat due to habitat loss and illegal trade. Losing them means losing an important part of our ecosystem.

Protect chameleons. Protect nature. 🦎🌍💚

Giraffes loves Acacia trees because the leaves are tender, nutrient rich and high in moisture. Despite the tree’s long thorns,
Their 18 to 20 inch tongues are perfectly evolved to navigate around with delicate precision…

Let’s continue conserving these amazing, brilliant and gentle giants creatures…

Out here in South Luangwa National Park, you get to witness nature in its purest form calm, wild, and breathtaking all at once.
These are the Thornicroft giraffes, a rare subspecies found only in the Luangwa Valley of Zambia. Seeing them stride peacefully across the plains alongside zebras, with a lion resting like a true king in the foreground, reminds me why this place is one of the most magical corners of Africa.

Every moment in the wild tells a story of balance, survival, beauty, and freedom. No rush, no noise… just nature showing off her masterpiece.
South Luangwa isn’t just a destination; it’s a feeling. A reminder of how incredible our country is, and how blessed we are to call this land home.

If you ever need peace, perspective, or a little dose of wonder… this is the place.

Connecting with Community, Restoring Our Future

As the Aspiring Conservation Leaders, we had an incredible opportunity to engage with the wonderful community members of Chitambo Village — sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and inspiring one another on the importance of environmental conservation.

During our workshop, we didn’t just talk about change we showed it in action. We took the community around our conservancy to showcase the progress we’ve made through our ongoing restoration projects. Together, we’ve:
Planted 32 new trees to promote biodiversity and restore natural habitats.
Backfilled all quarry pits to ensure safety and prevent further land degradation.
Cleared degraded areas to give the land a chance to regenerate and thrive once again.

Every small effort counts and by working hand in hand with local communities, we are creating lasting change that protects our ecosystems for generations to come.

Nature’s perfect partnership. in South Luangwa, Zambia, the Thornicroft giraffe, vulnerable subspecies found nowhere else on Earth, shares a special bond with oxpeckers.

The birds perch on its tall frame, feeding on ticks and parasites while keeping the giraffe healthy and alert to danger.
A beautiful example of balance in the wild...
