As part of its sustainable livelihood initiatives, the SSHJM-IDP distributed over 800 fingerlings to small household farmers across several villages. The Livelihood Department facilitated the exercise, which included training on fish pond management and setup to ensure the success of the recipients. The fingerlings were sourced from the organization's demonstration farm in Mungwi district and allocated to communities in Kalwanga, Chisintu, Mulefu, Chele, Mulunda, and Kasensha. This initiative reflects SSHJM-IDP's commitment to supporting community-driven development and diversified livelihoods.
