Following a successful one-day community engagement and Educational meeting aimed at educating and training community gardeners on sustainable gardening techniques, this is the turn out of the review visit.

The pictures highlight some the gardens for the community gardeners who were part of the one-day training in mansa held by Senama Adolescent Youth club on climate-resilient community gardening project.

The visit highlights the major challenge which most of the gardeners face in growing their crops which is lack of reliable water sources as streams dry up due to high precipitation caused by temperature changes.
Despite the negative impact of climate change, farmers still manage to grow crops that are resilient to current states of climate and this helps them to ensure food security.

As Senama YOUTH Club-Mansa club we intend to equip community gardeners with knowledge on climate smart agricultural techniques which will help build a sustainable future, ensure efficient resource utilisation and promote food security

As Senama Adolescent Youth club we're pleased to have been part of the inaugural ceremony for the Mutuna mpanga Traditional ceremony hosted by His Highness Chief Chisunka.

This marks the calendar for the celebration of the Mutuna mpanga traditional ceremony.

We extend our Warm congratulations for the successful inaugural, and commend His Royal highness for this gesture as it intends to preserve culture.

Our project is focused on training farmers on climate-resilient community gardening initiatives that is considering the climate smart agriculture techniques among others.

The event was graced by the Mayor of mansa His worship who officially launched our project with support from the YCAF project manager, ministry of agriculture, Forestry department among others.

We aim at building a climate-smart community through our campaign.🌱

Mansa Mayor on Wednesday the 30th of April 2025 launched the second round of YCAF. He was accompanied by the Deputy mayor and two councilors.

Speaking at the event, his worship expressed his gratitude to Bloomberg philanthropy for according him another change to participate in the second round of the project.

Later on for supporting this great initiative.
Present at the event were 26 youth groups including Senama adolescent youth club.

He encourage the participating clubs to deliver their work as this contributes to building a climate Smart environment and a sustainable future.
