🎬 Mama G Lands in Zambia for ‘Family Affairs’ 🇿🇲✨
Veteran Nollywood star Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, is in Zambia for the highly anticipated movie ‘Family Affairs’—a project already creating buzz among film lovers.
The celebrated actress arrived in Lusaka on Friday, where she was warmly received by renowned Zambian filmmaker David Kazadi.
During a press conference held yesterday, Mama G shared valuable insights on the film industry, encouraging Zambian actors to form a strong, united body to protect their interests. She emphasized that without proper representation, actors risk being undervalued and exploited.
💬 “Preparation starts from the film house… understand your role,” she advised.
💬 “When you are on set, they want you to perform—so prepare yourself.”
She also highlighted that acting is not just about passion, but requires commitment, discipline, and teamwork from everyone involved in production.
🎥 ‘Family Affairs’ is being produced by Kazadi Films in collaboration with Basali Media.

🚨 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | 20/04/2026 🚨

The Mansa Municipal Council Fire Brigade, working together with the Zambia Police and the Public Health Section, has successfully retrieved a decomposed body from a shallow stream near Kapisha area of the Mansa River in Namwandwe Township.

The body has been identified as Mr. Samson Chama (30) of Makasa Village under Chief Mabumba, who had been reported missing for seven days.

According to reports, Mr. Chama went missing last Tuesday after leaving home to cut a tree for constructing a grass-thatched outdoor bathing shelter.

His body was discovered around 09:00 hours by community members who were nearby crushing stones for sale. He was found lying face down in shallow water, with an axe close to the scene.

Authorities carried out the retrieval operation and followed all health and safety procedures before transporting the remains. The body was later laid to rest at Namwandwe Cemetery.

🙏🏽 The Mansa Municipal Council has commended the coordination between emergency responders and the community during this operation.
