Not every “friend request” online is friendly. Learn to spot the red flags before it goes too far.

Watch out if someone:
1. Asks to move to WhatsApp/Telegram fast
2. Compliments you too much, too fast
3. Asks for photos, videos, or personal info
4. Gets angry if you say no
5. Says “Don’t tell anyone”

Trust your gut. Block, report, and talk to a trusted adult.

*If you or someone you know is unsafe online or offline, you don’t have to face it alone.*

*Save these numbers:*
- *Child Helpline 116* — Free, 24/7. For abuse, bullying, online harm. Talk to a counselor.
- *Police Victim Support Unit* — For reporting crimes.
- *LifeLine Zambia 933* — For mental health support.

*What to do right now:*
1. Don’t delete messages or photos. They can be evidence.
2. Block and report the account.
3. Talk to a trusted adult or call 116.

*Po*******hy is everywhere online. Most kids see it before they’re ready. Let’s talk about why that matters.*

*What it does to young minds:*
- It gives a fake picture of s*x and relationships.
- It can make kids feel confused, ashamed, or pressured.
- It’s often illegal for kids to watch, and it’s sometimes linked to abuse.

*If you’re under 18 and you’ve seen it:*
- You’re not bad. You’re not in trouble.
- It’s okay to feel weird, angry, or scared.
- Talk to a trusted adult, or call *Child Helpline 116* for free, 24/7.

*Parents:* Block what you can, but talk more than you block. “Have you seen anything online that made you uncomfortable?” is a better start than silence.

*Mansa Youth Safe Voice — we keep it real so our kids stay safe.* 🇿🇲

*Let’s talk about it plainly: Every child in Zambia has rights. Even when it comes to s*x.*

*Under Zambian law:*
- Anyone under 16 cannot legally consent to s*x. Period.
- If an adult has s*x with someone under 16, that’s defilement. It’s a crime.
- Children have the right to say NO, to be safe, and to get help without shame.

*This isn’t about “promoting s*x.”* It’s about protecting kids from adults who break the law.

*If you’re under 16 and someone is pressuring you:*
- You are NOT in trouble.
- You can call *Child Helpline 116* for free, 24/7.
- You deserve to be safe.

*Parents & guardians:* Talking to your kids about this doesn’t corrupt them. Silence leaves them vulnerable.

*Mansa Youth Safe Voice — we talk about the hard things so our kids stay safe.* 🇿🇲

*"Good days are yet to come — but only if we protect our children now."*

*Proverbs 22:6* says: _"Train up a child in the way he should go."_

That means we don’t look away. We don’t stay silent when abuse, drugs, or defilement happen in our streets.

*Mansa, we are guardians.* If we don’t speak for our children, who will?

*This week, choose action:*
- Listen to your child without beating first
- Ask questions about new friends, new habits
- Report what you see to *Child Helpline 116*

*God gave us children as a trust.* We will not fail them.

Mansa Youth Safe Voice

*🚨 Mansa Parents: 5 Drug Warning Signs You Might Miss*

Family, drugs don’t always look like movies. In Mansa, they come in sugar packets, cough syrup, or “just for stress”.

*Watch for these 5 changes in your teen:*
1. *Mood swings* - Happy one minute, angry or secretive the next
2. *New friends* - Suddenly avoiding old friends + hiding phone
3. *Sleep changes* - Up all night, sleeping all day, or red eyes
4. *Money issues* - Asking for more cash, selling phone, stealing small things
5. *School drop* - Grades falling, missing class, no interest in work

*If you see 2 or more signs*: Don’t shame. Don’t beat. _Talk + act._

*What to do:*
- Call *DEC Luapula: 0211-234567* or *Child Helpline 116* for free advice
- Keep medicine, cash, and sharp objects locked away
- Ask schools if they have peer counselling

*This is not gossip. This is protection.* One conversation can save a child’s life.
