🌍🤝🏽 Building bridges through dialogue and diplomacy.

EMERGE UNZA Zambia had the privilege of visiting the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Zambia, engaging in meaningful conversations and learning more about diplomacy, international relations, and the experiences shaping communities around the world.

As young people, we believe in creating spaces for dialogue, learning, and meaningful engagement beyond the classroom. 🇿🇲🇵🇸

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM: A JOURNEY INTO DIPLOMACY 🇵🇸
What happens when students step beyond the classroom and into the world of diplomacy?
We experienced it firsthand.
Our recent visit to the Embassy of the State of Palestine was an insightful and memorable experience that gave us an opportunity to learn, engage, and gain a deeper understanding of diplomacy and international relations.
From meaningful conversations to learning more about Palestine, its people, culture, history, and diplomatic relations, the visit gave us a perspective that goes beyond what we encounter in the classroom.
It was more than just a trip.....it was an opportunity to connect, learn, and broaden our understanding of the world around us.
A huge thank you to the Embassy of the State of Palestine for welcoming us and for sharing your time, knowledge, and experiences with us.
We came to learn.
We left with new perspectives.
And most importantly, we were reminded that learning has no borders.

Here is our recap of our wonderful trip👇, enjoy

We are officially back in action!

For a little while, things might have looked quiet on our end, but behind the scenes, the Emerge UNZA Model United Nations Executive has been hard at work laying down an ambitious, action-packed roadmap for the semester.
We recently gathered for a strategic meeting to welcome our newly appointed committee members, align our visions, and plan out incredible opportunities for our members. Here is what we have lined up:

🌍 Conferences on the Horizon: We are gearing up to participate in upcoming external conferences, including the Emerge – Mulungushi University MUN, the Emerge – Unicaf University MUN, and the Emerge – Unicaf Secondary School Edition MUN.

🌱 Beyond the Podium: To ensure we learn outside the traditional setting, we are also planning educational tours and hands-on field trips for the semester.
We are ready to reignite the spirit of diplomacy, critical thinking, and youth leadership on campus. Make sure you are following our page so you don't miss out on registration details, event dates, and how you can get involved!

EMERGE UNZA Chapter Model United Nations wishes to extend our profound gratitude to EMERGE Zambia Model United Nations and all our distinguished partners.
Thanks to your unwavering commitment, seamless collaboration, and faith in youth leadership, the Emerge-Eden International Conference transcended being just an event—it became a historic milestone.

This conference was truly a premier gathering. It united a vibrant cohort of delegates, ranging from ambitious high school students across Zambia to passionate university scholars from UNZA and beyond, alongside esteemed international diplomats and guest speakers.
Together in one room, they fully immersed themselves in the art and responsibility of global diplomacy. Through rigorous committee simulations, strategic debates, and complex international relations scenarios, our delegates didn't just discuss global challenges—they mastered the delicate processes of negotiation, consensus-building, and multilateral leadership, guided by seasoned professionals.
We are confident that every delegate walked away deeply transformed. They left better informed on international affairs, more articulate in their advocacy, and inspired to champion positive change within their communities.

To every partner, facilitator, mentor, diplomat, and volunteer who generously contributed their time, resources, and expertise: thank you for making this transformative experience a reality. Your support has played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of Zambian and global policymakers.

We look forward to sustaining the meaningful partnerships we have forged, and we celebrate the lasting impact this conference will undoubtedly continue to yield.
