SUBCIZ JOINS CLEAN-UP LOCAL INITIATIVE IN NDOLA

Today, the Director of Standing Up for Boy Child Initiative Zambia (SUBCIZ), Mr. Kutemwa Sichimba, joined the Public and Environmental Health Champions in the Clean-Up Local Initiative a community-driven exercise aimed at promoting environmental hygiene and public health awareness.

The activity focused on cleaning and collecting litter along the Ndola–Kitwe Dual Carriageway and around the Copperbelt University School of Medicine premises in Ndola. This initiative underscores the importance of community participation in maintaining clean, safe and healthy environments for all.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Sichimba reaffirmed SUBCIZ’s commitment to supporting environmental stewardship as part of holistic youth development, noting that a clean environment contributes to healthy minds and productive citizens. He further encouraged boys and young men to be good stewards of the environment.

SUBCIZ continues to stand with partners and community leaders in advancing initiatives that foster civic responsibility, health awareness and youth involvement in sustainable development.
