It was not just an ordinary day. As Earth 🌍 Keepers we recently went to Kafue to share knowledge with the Women of Valor.

This was not an academic exercise it was putting our heads together on how to better equip, educate and empower ourselves by promoting Indigenous foods, organic fertiliser and food sovereignty.

We keep pushing looking forward to networking and collaboration with other women in our region.

Highlights of the Food fair that took place on Friday 13th at UNZA.

This event brought together Faith leaders, Community leaders, CSOs and UNZA students.

The main aim was to showcase our rich culture through the promoting of traditional meals.

The Zambia Regional Women FLEAT III recently held an eco-justice and climate action intervention that was held at the Wills Hotel.

This served as a crucial training platform on Nutrition and Organic Fertilizer use under the theme of Faith Leaders and eco-Communities Leading the Way for Climate justice, agroecology and Nutrition.

Key sessions included practical discussions from a Nutrition Consultant and a presentation on Di Grow Foliar Fertilizer.

This will enable sustainable farming practices and healthier eating habits at household and community level.

Zambia had an opportunity to be part of the powerful Regional Women FLEAT III organized by SAFCEI in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This brought together faith leaders from Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Iswatini, Namibia and Zambia 🌍.

This was a powerful reminder that women 💪🏽 are able to influence, advocate and be social change agents.

This was not just a mere training it was the beginning of renewed commitment towards climate justice, just energy Transition and indeed to amplify 🔉 the voices of the vulnerable communities especially the women and children.
