🌟 VIONET ZAMBIA – DAY 1 TRAINING UPDATE! 🌟
Training of Trainers (TOT) Workshop – Lusaka
18th November 2025

Today marks the first day of our highly anticipated Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop, officially confirmed and supported by the African Union (AU). We are excited to welcome participants from across our consortium as we begin building a stronger national movement for volunteerism in Zambia.

Throughout this training, participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills to mainstream volunteerism into:

✔ National development policies and frameworks
✔ Youth professional development programmes
✔ Youth employment and empowerment initiatives

Day 1 also introduced participants to the AU policy architecture and key youth-focused initiatives that guide continental development and youth participation.

This TOT aims to develop 50 national resource persons who will later cascade the training within their institutions—strengthening Zambia’s capacity to promote meaningful youth engagement and sustainable development.

We appreciate all consortium members who nominated participants and demonstrated commitment to strengthening the volunteerism ecosystem in Zambia.

Let’s continue to build a community of empowered, knowledgeable, and active volunteerism champions! 💪🇿🇲✨
