Education is more than going to school — it is the foundation of opportunity, dignity, and national development.

When a child is educated:

🧠 They gain knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking

🌍 They are empowered to break the cycle of poverty

💡 They learn to solve problems and create solutions

🤝 They grow into responsible citizens and future leaders

Education opens doors that poverty tries to close. It gives children a voice, a vision, and the ability to dream beyond their circumstances. For communities, education reduces crime, improves health, strengthens the economy, and builds unity.

At its core, education is hope — hope for a better tomorrow, a stronger Zambia 🇿🇲, and a generation that is informed, skilled, and empowered.

🍽️ ONE PLATE PER CHILD – Feeding Hope, One Meal at a Time

At YES Youth Empowerment Skills Zambia 🇿🇲, we believe no child should learn on an empty stomach.

One Plate Per Child is our community feeding program created to support community schools and orphanages where many pupils and children go through the day without a single meal. Hunger affects concentration, attendance, health, and hope — and that’s where we step in.

Through this initiative, we:

🍛 Provide nutritious meals to vulnerable children

🏫 Support community schools with learners at risk of hunger

🤍 Reach orphanages caring for children with no stable support

🌱 Restore dignity, energy, and the ability to learn

One plate may look small — but to a hungry child, it means strength, focus, and a reason to smile.

Together, we can build a future where every child gets at least one guaranteed meal and a fair chance to grow, learn, and dream.

👉 Because a fed child is an empowered child.
👉 Because real change starts with compassion.

At YES Youth Empowerment Skills Zambia 🇿🇲, community service is at the heart of everything we do.
We are committed to supporting elderly men and women, as well as vulnerable and less-privileged members of our communities, by ensuring they live in a clean, healthy, and dignified environment.

As an organization, we take responsibility for identifying community members in need and actively supporting them by cleaning their homes and surrounding environments, providing access to clean water 💦, and sharing nutritious food prepared by the organization.

Through these actions, we are not only restoring cleanliness but also promoting dignity, health, and hope. We firmly believe that every person deserves to live in a clean and safe environment, and we remain dedicated to making this a reality—one household, one community at a time.

This support contributed to our youth empowerment programs, with a strong focus on leadership training, skills development, and the empowerment of the girl child. We sincerely appreciate the partnership and shared commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impact in our communities.
