SME Education Foundation & Educators
• Mission:
The SME Education Foundation (also referred to as SME) supports educators by providing access to resources, training, and scholarships to prepare students for careers in fields like manufacturing.
• Resources for Teachers:
The foundation offers resources, professional development opportunities, and memberships for high school and post-secondary educators to help them integrate advanced technology and technical skills into their classrooms.
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) & Teachers
• Industry Focus: In this usage, "SME" refers to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
• Educator Involvement: Teachers are involved in providing training and educational resources to help these businesses grow and adapt, particularly in areas like digitalization, sustainability, and innovation.
