We are bridging gender inequality by increasing the number of household incomes controlled by women This page is about Youth Arise Initiative, a Zambian youth driven organization whose objectives/purpose(s) is(are) as outlined below;
1.To promote youth involvement in raising awareness on HIV/AIDS, male circumcision and cervical cancer and other health issues in the communities around the country.
2.To bring about zero discrimination against those living with HIV/AIDS
3.To promote adherence and compliance to ART and/or ATT.
4.To enhance VCT among youths and young people and promote early initiation of ART
5.To bring about positive change in young people’s social behaviors.
6.To be a forum through which youths can actively get involved in being agents for change in their communities.
7.To foster gender equality and promote equal opportunities for all among youths.
8.To bring to an end gender based violence
9.Promote women empowerment, girl child education and strongly speak against early marriages in the communities around the country.
10.Promote youth driven economic development through agriculture and entrepreneurship etc.
11.To raise awareness on climate change, its effects and how it can best be addressed.
12.To empower youths to be self-sustaining through workshops and/or short trainings and help identify projects that can benefit the majority of youths in the community.
