SUNDAY THOUGHT

“Past the anatomy, there is life.
Decisions, labelled emotions, a past, a present, and a future
not truths in themselves,
but factors interacting with principle.
As Bruce Lee once said,
‘the body doesn’t know the difference.’
There is truth in that.
So I tell you, my friends
to master the mind is better than to conquer kingdoms.
For all kingdoms bow
to the one who has learned
how to live
so have faith in all circumstances
Follow christ and live well.”

AN ACT BEFORE THE HEAVENS
Just as Adam was undone,
so was I undone.
I was set upon the stage before all heaven,
beneath the mighty gaze of our great God.
“Respect Him,”
thus says the hosts of heaven,
the council of twenty-four,
“Respect Him,
for He is not your familiar.
He is the loving Father,
and He loves you.”
And there I stood.
Placed upon the same stage,
given breath,
given will,
given light.
I performed my best act.
I played the fool.
I played the wise man.
I played the saint.
I even tried to play God.
And heaven watched.
What manner of man cannot see?
Then heaven spoke,
like a choir of thunder
commanding,
yet calm,
terrifying,
yet graceful:
As the body is governed by the mind,
so is the mind moved by the spirit.
And what does the spirit know,
if not its origin?
Remind the spirit.
And the Holy Spirit will confirm.
And the Holy Spirit will teach you
how to be you.
So I asked again:
Who am I?
And the answer had long been written
We are all children of God.
We are all loved
by our King,
Jesus.

_*When I grow up, I wanna be the moon*_
I want to hang high, quiet, and calm,
watching the world spin while it worries itself awake.
I want to glow for those who stumble in darkness,
to be borrowed light for the lost, the small, the overlooked.
I want to pull oceans with a gentle hand,
and sway hearts without ever asking for them.
I want to wear silence like a crown,
and let dreams find me when they have nowhere else to land.
I want to witness storms without fear,
and still return to the same calm glow, night after night.
I want to orbit hope so closely,
that even those who forget the sun remember warmth.
And when the world whispers, I am too small,
I’ll shine anyway,
because being seen is not the same as being needed,
and being needed is a quiet power stronger than pride.
So yeah little me,
you actually got to learn love.

All we have to do is choose christ, choose faith choose his way and let him handle the rest👌

When You’re Scared of Making the Wrong Choice...

Psalm 37:23
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”

Let’s talk about that paralyzing feeling when you’re standing at a crossroads, sweating every possible outcome.

Like one wrong move could ruin everything.

Like God is silently watching, waiting to see whether you pick the “right” or “wrong” path, and if you mess up, you’ll miss His plan.

No wonder so many of us feel paralyzed.

We’re afraid of the future…

afraid of failure…

but mostly, afraid of disappointing God.

If you let it go on long enough, you start to get anxiety and stress.

The truth is however, you don’t need to have it all figured out.

God’s will is not fragile.
Your salvation is definitely not fragile.
And you are not powerful enough to ruin God’s plans.

Psalm 37:23 reminds us that not just your good decisions, but all your steps are ordered by the Lord.

That means God is not pacing in heaven wondering what you’ll choose.

He’s not stressed.

He’s not anxious.

He’s not hoping you get it right.

He knows how much we overthink, procrastinate, and stress about our lives.

He goes ahead of you, prepares the way, and even uses your detours for your good.

The fear of making the wrong choice usually comes from two lies:

Lie #1: “God won’t help me if I choose wrong.”

Truth?

God guides His children even when they wander.

That’s His specialty.

You don’t lose His guidance when you make a mistake.

Lie #2: “My decisions control my destiny.”

Your destiny is secured in Christ, not in your performance.

You are not saved by being right.

You are saved by believing right in the finished work of Jesus.

So why does the fear feel so real?

Because your heart still believes the burden is on you.

Your mind believes your thoughts and your emotions.

The enemy plants thoughts like, “If I choose wrong, everything falls apart!”

But the Bible says, God holds everything together, not me.

When you belong to Jesus, even your “wrong choices” cannot derail His right plan.

God can redirect.

God can realign.

God can use mistakes, accidents, detours, and even failures to bring you exactly where He intended.

This is proven even in Scripture.

• Jonah ran the wrong direction, God still led him.

• Moses killed a man, God still used him.

• Peter denied Jesus, God still restored him.

• Paul persecuted Christians, God still appointed him.

If God can transform those choices into His glory, He can certainly handle the decisions you’re agonizing over.

Here’s how to move forward without fear:

Step 1: Stop trying to be your own shepherd.

You’re not meant to guide yourself. Of course we should use discernment and follow His Word but we must lean on God’s grace.

Step 2: Ask God for wisdom, not a sign.

Wisdom anchors you; signs confuse you. Ask God to guide you only according to His will.

Step 3: Make the decision with a gospel-centered heart.

If your intention is to honor God, you are safe.

Step 4: Trust God more than your logic.

Your plan is limited. His is eternal.

Step 5: Rest in your identity.

You’re a child, not a project.

God leads children gently.

Prayer for the Fearful Decision-Maker:

"Lord, I’m afraid of choosing wrong. I’m scared of missing Your will and burdened by pressure You never put on me. Remind me that You order my steps, not my perfection. Guide me with Your wisdom and quiet my anxious thoughts. Help me trust Your sovereignty more than my fears. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I trust we had an amazing sabbath🙏I personally enjoyed mine 😅

In the spirit of sharing, I'd like to share a small biblical must know 💡

Matthew 28:19-20
We understand the charge given to us, as go and do which is a beautiful part of the gospel and true, but let's understand why jesus said this. When we read the last chapters of Matthew, Mark and Luke, we see that after jesus died, the disciples had no way, they had no idea what to do next, The only way they ever knew had just died. Isn't it interesting how jesus said he is the way and truth 🤔 . So the disciples could not move till jesus said so, because he is the way. Now, after he resurrects and meets them, he leaves them instructions, in Matthew 28:19-20, which is the way forward as he goes to heaven for our sake. not only that but a guide to help us know that it's the way without physically seeing the jesus, The Holy Spirit. When we understanding this, we find ourselves taking a step further in deepening our relationship with God because we would have known the way and will live that way, which is Jesus's way.
Life gets hard, and sometimes you have no idea what to do where to go or who to talk to, so we keep all those problems inside and they make us turn out to be people we actually don't want to turn into. Let's remember that there is always a way to these things, and jesus is that way. Pray, you might just end up smiling before you sleep😅
