Let’s talk about public toilets

Have you ever entered a public toilet and instantly regretted your decision?

No water.
No tissue.
No soap.
Broken door locks.
The smell? 😭

Sometimes you even start questioning all your life decisions the moment you step inside.

But here’s the serious part…
Clean toilets are not a luxury. They are a basic human right. Hygiene protects us from infections, diarrhea, cholera, and many other diseases.

So let me ask you

👉🏽 Should we normalize dirty public toilets?
👉🏽 Who is responsible for keeping them clean?
👉🏽 How can we as citizens help improve sanitation in our communities?

It starts with us.
Flush properly.
Don’t litter.
Report broken facilities.
Teach our children hygiene.

A clean Zambia starts with small habits.

🇿🇲 Zambia Is Getting Too Dirty!
Look around streets and drains piled with trash, uncollected garbage everywhere. Waste is clogging our drains, attracting rats and flies, and fueling cholera and other diseases. Poor solid waste management is a real public health threat, especially during the rainy season.
This isn’t just ugly it’s dangerous. We must bring back the spirit of Keep Zambia Clean, Green & Healthy and make cleanliness a daily habit, not a slogan.
✅ Pick up litter
✅ Use bins correctly
✅ Hold each other accountable
✅ Help your neighbour to do the same
💪 A clean Zambia is a healthy Zambia!
