Today, The Difference, together with Zambia and the rest of Africa, honors the life of a great man—Kenneth Kaunda—a leader who dedicated his life to the liberation and upliftment of African people.
He championed the philosophy of Humanism and Ubuntu—“I am because we are.”
A vision rooted in unity, shared prosperity, and the belief that no one is truly free until all are free.
His struggle was never for power, but for people—for dignity, justice, and the well-being of every African child.
As The Difference, we continue this journey.

The revolution he stood for is not over—it lives on through our actions, our service, and our commitment to humanity.

🚭 KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: Statutory Instrument No. 39 of 2008 – Banning Smoking in Enclosed Public Spaces 🚭
We want to remind and teach everyone that S.I. No. 39 of 2008 under the Local Government Act prohibits smoking in all enclosed public spaces—offices, restaurants, and public transport—protecting everyone, especially children, from secondhand smoke.
Remember, this law is vital for promoting public health and mental well-being. If you see smoking in enclosed spaces, report it. Together, we can keep our communities safer and healthier!

Hard work never goes unnoticed.
It was a true honor to have our third Kanyama Youth Revolution March and Cleaning featured on the national broadcaster, Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) TV2 Main News, as well as covered by other media platforms such as Crown TV Zambia and additional broadcasting channels. This is not just recognition—it is a strong testament to the vision we carry and the real impact we are making in our communities.
This movement is not about publicity. It is not about simply hosting activities. It is about cleaning minds, transforming communities, and proving what is possible when young people unite behind a shared purpose.
Power is not stated. It is not declared. It is demonstrated.
What we have achieved through the third Kanyama Youth Revolution, together with the previous activities, reflects our unwavering commitment to building communities that are clean, conscious, and safe for everyone. We are not just cleaning the environment—we are shaping a mindset and redefining the future.
The presence and support of the media is not just important—it is essential. From The Difference, the President, the Vice President, all executive members, and our partners, we would like to sincerely appreciate each and every participant who took part in the third Kanyama Youth Revolution Cleanup Crime Down.

This was the biggest event of its kind, with a massive turnout of people — something that has never been experienced before. This achievement was only possible because of the participation, commitment, and support of everyone involved.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you because we know that this is a shared cause. Together, we will continue building a stronger future, a cleaner future, and a brighter future for everyone. We believe in creating clean environments, clean minds, and peaceful communities where everyone can live safely and proudly.

The Difference , Hwpl Zambia branch ,Ipyg GlobalEight , and our various partners truly appreciate the commitment shown by youth leaders, advocates, activists, and all participants toward building a sustainable and clean future.

On Friday, 17th April, the third Kanyama Youth Revolution Cleanup Crime Down—formerly the Kanyama Youth Revolution March and Cleaning—took place.

This was more than just an event. It was a testimony to the future we want to build: a future with clean environments, clean minds, and crime-free communities.

We had over 150 participants, with many more joining us along the way. We were especially proud to see the participation of children from the communities and organizations that came together to support the cause.

This is only the beginning.

We are proud to announce that the Lusaka Youth Revolution Cleanup Crime Down is coming next, and it will be bigger, stronger, and more powerful than anything we have done before.

From this activity, our commitment has only grown stronger. We will continue to push for cleaner communities, safer streets, and a better future for our young people.

The movement continues.

however, there is something that can be worked out properly.

the reason the wheelbarrow pushers are doing the work of Lusaka Integrated Solid Waste Management Company Limited is because there isn't any proper interactions between the organization and the people in some areas . therefore , people opt to give the wheelbarrow pushers to collect the bins instead
While there are bad sides to that,there are also good ones .

at the difference, we believe that something can be made out of the current reality in a way that benefits both the organization,the wheelbarrow pushers and ultimately the community and country at large.
