Looking back earlier this year, MAI Foundation hosted the virtual session for the “CLIMATE ACTION AND EDUCATION FORUM 2024” which brought about speakers and delegates from across the world.

Thus, ideas and alternative potential solutions were discussed with a broader perspective on how the fast rising rate of climate change is affecting different parts of some countries in the world and how it can be addressed by fostering certain measures and implementations that would best benefit indigenous communities.

With the theme of ”Harnessing Art and Communication for Climate Education to Alleviate Extreme Poverty, every contribution and discussion was centered around different topics under each session from 1-10 and how best each speaker relates to the field of expertise.

As we draw the curtain, African countries should effectively deploy development planning as a transformative tool to strengthen resilience and sustainable development in an era of unrelenting crises.

The imperative is to empower farmers and provide them with adequate financial resources towards eradicating hunger, achieving food security, sustainable development and realizing the broader objectives of the African Union Agenda 2063.

Private sector engagement is identified as critical in driving investments and innovation in Africa’s agri-food and nutrition sector offering critical resources and expertise to address the complex challenges facing the agricultural landscape. By fostering collaborative efforts and forging strategic partnerships, stakeholders can amplify the impact of CAAPD, fortifying Africa’s agricultural systems and advancing the goal of food security across the continent.

If over 6 trillion USD are spent on war, more funds more funds and investment can go towards peace and development.

Recently MAI Foundation proudly joined forces with other Coalition Members at the fourth annual meeting of the Global Education Coalition. 📚💡

We engaged in vital conversations and sessions aimed at shaping the Coalition’s impactful work ahead.

🤝🏾 We are deeply committed to maintaining educational equity and inclusion, especially during periods of school closures. We recognize that such closures historically exacerbate learning inequities, disproportionately affecting the most vulnerable children and youth.💔

💡Our Coalition is dedicated to working hand in hand with governments to find innovative solutions that ensure no one is left behind. Together, we strive to provide teaching and learning opportunities to students through alternative means, ensuring access to quality education remains steadfast, regardless of circumstances.📝📚

Let’s continue to champion for education as a fundamental right for all by fostering a brighter and more inclusive future for every child and youth worldwide.🌍📚

In Madagascar, home grown food school meals addresses food insecurities and help children stay in school.

For many children, the school feeding programs are a lifeline: the daily food portions encourage them to attend classes and improve outcomes, with more children completing the certificate of primary studies and contributing to their whole wellbeing.
