Protecting our planet is inseparable from protecting our childrenโ€™s rights. Every child has the right to grow up in a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment. Clean air, safe water, and fertile soil are not privileges, they are fundamental rights that safeguard childrenโ€™s health, dignity, and future.

Earlier today, we had an interesting discussion on Restorative Child Justice and diversion on Crown TV's the Royal Breakfast Show.

On any given day, our Restorative Child Justice Centre comes alive as a vibrant hub of activities, ranging from football and volleyball to gardening and tailoring. These programs are designed to nurture childrenโ€™s talents and equip them with practical skills that build confidence and resilience.

These activities are not simply recreational; they are an important part of our programming. Many of the children we support have found themselves in conflict with the law, often due to circumstances beyond their control such as poverty, neglect, or lack of guidance. By engaging them in structured, positive alternatives, we help redirect their energy, build selfโ€‘discipline, and reduce chances of reoffending.

Through sports, creative work, and vocational training, children discover new pathways for growth and dignity. Combined with counselling and other diversion services, these activities ensure that every child is given the opportunity to reform, reintegrate, and thrive as a valued member of society.
