Mobile Emergency Rescue Team is a non-profit making humanitarian organization engaged in emergency health, relief distribution, disaster management, mitigation and Community development programs in Zambia. It was founded in August 2002 and registered under the laws of Zambia in 2004; it was founded with a core reason to supplement government’s efforts in the area of health, disaster management and
mitigation, With a simple belief that the time to prepare for the next disaster is now. Looking at the major disaster that have rocked the world the tsunami to mention a few, our government alone cant manage to respond to disasters hence the Formation of MOBILE EMERGENCY RESCUE TEAM located in the Capital city Lusaka with offices in some rural and provincial Capitals of Zambia. We provide support for all people around the country, irrespective of race, religion or political belief.
