Back in October, ZCAS YUNA was part of something worth looking back on.

We joined Pads for Power, Global Impact Foundation, Her STEM Path, and Girl Power Platform to bring the Pad Reach Campaign to campus through the Popup Pads Donation drive centred on menstrual health awareness and period poverty in Zambia.

The day delivered. Over 250 students were reached, engagement was strong, and students contributed financially to support the cause on the spot. For a subject that can still be difficult to raise in public spaces, the response spoke for itself.

ZCAS YUNA thanks all stakeholders involved on the day and hopes to see this campaign just like others currently running in our communities to continue to and bring real world change and impact.

A few months back, ZCAS YUNA hosted a United Nations Outreach Day on the ZCAS University main campus in commemoration of the eightieth anniversary of the signing of United Nations Charter.

The university welcomed Mr. Isaac Ahemesah, UNAIDS Country Director and member of the UN Zambia Country Team, alongside fellow UN staff as guests for the occasion. Students received a broad look at how the United Nations operates, heard directly about career and internship pathways within the organisation, and received hands-on guidance on setting up profiles on the UN careers portal. An open Q&A session rounded off the afternoon, with representatives engaging students candidly on everything from day-to-day UN work to advice on building a competitive profile.

The event took part on the 12th of November, 2025.

ZCAS YUNA looks forward to more engagements of this kind.
