In Zambia, the approach to education during holidays varies based on official directives, with a focus on balancing rest, remedial work, and academic consistency. While holidays are intended for recovery, the Ministry of Education sometimes mandates that boarding school learners remain at school during short breaks to minimize disruptions, and teachers often utilize this time for marking or professional duties.

Family Engagement: Active participation from parents and guardians is essential for success.
