Maukabwanji?
Kwazizira maningi lelo mu Zambia which means “it’s cold today in Zambia” in cinyanja, one of local languages.

She is busy to paste and put white papers for a big chair. I’m proud of her work and passion for children with disabilities.

I’m sure her contribution helps a lot of children with disabilities and their family.

Maukabwanji?
Kwapya sana mu Zambia.

Yesterday we had visitors of JICA, Ms. Otowa from JICA Japan head office, Ms. Sato and Mr. Brennan from JICA Zambia office.

They learned a lot about ZACD, what we are doing, what challenges we are facing, how JICA volunteer works something like that.

We introduced our workshop and the office to them then we discussed.

As ZACD, it’s great opportunity for us to have a JICA volunteer and we need to keep collaboration with JICA. It will be helpful for us to go to the next level as one of the organization for children with disabilities. We really appreciate our relationship with JICA.

We always welcome your visit to our work place.
If you want please feel free to contact us.

Have a good middle of the week!

Good morning.

I’m Chihiro from Japan, working here as a volunteer of JICA.

I am managing to post about our organization on instagram and Facebook to encourage people to know what ZACD is doing.

I’ve started to work here since September 2025. I always feel that my colleagues of ZACD have passion to support children with disabilities because they are working hard every single day. I’m very impressed by their work.

They are also kind to me and teaching me how to make special mobility aids.

I think more people should know their work. That’s why I’m trying to advertise about ZACD on social media.

We are making special shoes for club foot 👟
We are only one organization which is making these special mobility aids in Zambia.

It’s important for children with club foot to treat as soon as possible. It helps for positioning their foot properly.

We also try to teach their parents how important the shoes are for their children to change their mindset.
