The National Association of Savings and Credit Unions (NASCU) today engaged with the Zambia Correctional Services Credit Union (COSCU) to discuss areas of collaboration and support aimed at strengthening COSCU’s institutional agenda and operations.

The engagement forms part of NASCU’s deliberate and ongoing efforts to strengthen its relationship with affiliated SACCOs through targeted engagements that identify their needs, opportunities for growth, and areas where NASCU can provide technical and institutional support.

The NASCU team was received by Regional Commander Mr. Sakala, COSCU General Manager Mr. Chitamaluka, Board Member Mr. Delpa Zuze, and members of the COSCU management team.

The discussions resulted in the identification of a number of capacity-building activities that will be undertaken to support the COSCU Board and Management in strengthening the Credit Union and advancing its objectives.

NASCU remains committed to working closely with its SACCO affiliates to build stronger, sustainable and member-focused cooperative financial institutions.
