Join the African Women Sanitation Professionals Network at the 14th ZAWAFE!
The African Women Sanitation Professionals Network invites water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) practitioners, policymakers, development partners, researchers, private sector actors, and the public to participate in its focused session on:
"Womenโs Leadership in Accelerating Integrated Resilience Solutions for Vision 2030 and SDG 6"
Women play a critical role in advancing sustainable water and sanitation solutions, strengthening community resilience, and driving inclusive development. This session will explore the transformative impact of women's leadership in the WASH sector and highlight opportunities to enhance women's participation in decision-making, innovation, policy development, and service delivery.
Participants will engage in discussions on empowering women leaders, promoting gender-responsive approaches, and fostering partnerships that contribute to achieving Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goal 6 - ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
The session forms part of the 14th Zambia Water Forum and Exhibition (ZAWAFE) under the theme:
"From Commitment to Action: Accelerating Integrated Resilience Solutions for Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."
