As part of the Going Beyond Project's commitment to strengthening support systems for youth peer, Jacaranda Hub conduction Family Engagement Sessions in Kapiri Mposhi and Kabwe of central province. The sessions aim to bring together youths and their family members to foster stronger communication, understanding, and collaboration in supporting young people's entrepreneur and economic growth journeys.

Through open dialogue and shared learning, families are gaining a deeper appreciation of the Digital Business (DB) Program and the opportunities it is creating for the youth peers. Parents and guardians expressed increased confidence in supporting the youth peers as they develop digital, entrepreneurial, and employability skills.

The engagement highlighted the importance of family involvement in enhancing youth resilience, motivation, and success. The project is being implemented in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and Digital Opportunity Trust.

We are delighted to announce the successful selection of a new cohort of Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners in North-Western province that will participate in the eMiner project incubation and acceleration programme.

Following a rigorous awareness raising and community engagement process for the eMiner programme in North-Western province, we received an overwhelming number of applications from 197 ASMs that went through a thorough screening process, and a total of 55 enterprises including early stage and growth stage entrepreneurs as well as ASM cooperatives were selected.

Over the coming months, the cohort will embark on a transformative incubation journey. Participants will receive tailored business development support, practical capacity-building training, expert mentorship and coaching, networking opportunities, and guidance to strengthen their business models, improve operational performance, embrace digital solutions, and enhance their readiness to access new markets and investment opportunities.

we congratulate the selected artisanal and small scale miners on this achievement and commend them for their commitment to growing their businesses. The eMiner initiative is part of the GreenTech4CE project being supported by the European Union.
