The journey of the 2026 Nelson Mandela Essay Prize is heading to the University of Cape Town for the Mandela Futures Forum 2026, taking place on 22–23 October.

Two days of ideas, scholarship and dialogue will bring together students, scholars, policymakers, public leaders and emerging African voices, culminating in the 2026 Nelson Mandela Essay Prize Ceremony on 23 October.
