displayed female executives’ perceptions on in their countries through social equity policies.
55 female executives across 17 African countries shared the following insights :
* Social equity is about ensuring that all individuals have equal opportunities to participate fully in the political and cultural life of a community.
* The applicability of principle at national level is influenced by :
📌Inclusive Policy and Legislative Frameworks: and social inclusion strategies. Respondents highlighted the importance of gender mainstreaming policies and affirmative action initiatives to promote inclusive participation
📌 Access to Healthcare and Services and Training and Capacity building are also critical for social equity
📌 Economic and Social Empowerment : Experts from Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, and Zimbabwe highlighted the importance of economic and social empowerment in achieving social equity.
📌 Inclusive Participation and Public Engagement
📌 Data availability, leveraging on and connectivity can accelerate identifying vulnerable groups and hence adoption of LNOB affirmative policies and actions …
