A CALL TO THE BETTER MINAMBE WARD AND MUFULIRA DISTRICT

As we come to a point of reflection, we must be honest with ourselves and confront some hard truths—truths that many may not agree with.

Let us take a moment and ask ourselves:
Is Mufulira where it is supposed to be today?
Are we, as community members, playing our role in the development of our district?

I, Mike Musonda Minambe Ward Aspiring Councilor make this call to all members of our Communities and the citizens of Mufulira District.

We must move away from hand-to-mouth politics—the kind where we are influenced by temporary benefits during campaigns, only to be neglected afterwards. This cycle has held us back for too long.

For the betterment of Our future

I ask you to reflect on this instead We focus on building a district where:

Every child has access to quality education
Health services are available and accessible
Our road network supports growth and connectivity

We must also accept responsibility. The challenges we face are not only a result of poor leadership, but also our own decisions as a community. We play a key role in choosing our leaders, and we must make those decisions wisely

My Vision for Positive Change in Minambe Ward

As I aspire to serve, my commitment is to bring practical and visible development to our community:

Education Support: Work with stakeholders to improve school infrastructure, support learning materials, and promote youth mentorship programs.

Health Improvement: Advocate for better-equipped clinics, access to essential medicines, and improved community health services.

Road and Infrastructure Development: Push for improved road networks, drainage systems, and better planning to support movement and business.
Youth Empowerment: Create opportunities for skills training, entrepreneurship, and community programs that keep young people productive and engaged.

Community Engagement: Promote transparency, accountability, and regular engagement with residents so that every voice is heard.

Clean and Safe Environment: Encourage sanitation programs, waste management, and community-led initiatives to keep our ward clean and safe.

As I aspire to serve, my message is clear: I want to represent a Minambe Ward where every individual matters, where every voice is heard, and where development is a shared responsibility.

Despite being away from home at times, my commitment to this community remains strong. I am ready to return, to work on the ground, and to serve with dedication and honesty.
To the people of Minambe Ward, I say this: I am your son, your brother, and your friend. You know my desire to contribute positively to our community.

In my silence Paying you a visit I will review positive Project and collaboration under way to enhance development in our district.

Let us work together to build a better Minambe Ward and a stronger Mufulira District for everyone.
