Our Story

The World Economic Forum believes nearly two-thirds of children entering school today will work in jobs that don't yet exist. This means there should be a fundamental shift in the kind of skills that we prioritise among our youth. And yet Young people in Livingstone have limited access to technology & material necessary for a great stem education. We believe inculcating STEM skills and giving the youth this centre will help them to grow.

About 46% of the Livingstone population is aged between 10 to 30 most of whom will be entering or just entering the workforce. The curriculum remains outdated for the current needs of businesses and employers. Many of the schools in Livingstone, Zambia are underfunded resulting in children having limited-to-no access at all to equipment, resources, and even well-equipped STEM teachers.

The Ehub Zambia project provides the community with a well-equipped learning center and an updated curriculum to ensure uptake of the relevant skillset. The project also offers a steady stream of trained educators to assist the learners.

The project will train 1500 young boys and girls to a job-ready level to allow them to get quality STEM jobs or to start businesses through the center and introduce over 5000 young people to basic Computer Coding; these participants will come from underserved and or rural communities that limited to no access to computers of which 65% of these participants will female as we also passionate to Bridge the Gender Digital Divide in our Country.
