What a wonderful opportunity it was to visit Wayi Wayi Art Studio and Gallery last Saturday. The visit provided a unique opportunity for our mentees to experience art beyond the walls of our safe space. The experience helped them appreciate art as a powerful tool for storytelling and creating social change. For many, this was their first time visiting a professional art gallery. The excitement and curiosity reminded us of the importance exposure has in broadening their horizons and imagination.

We spent yesterday morning exploring emotions through colour.
After a long and chilly week of writing midterm tests, the session served as a to pause, unwind, and process experiences in a creative and meaningful way, while reconnecting to themselves and each other. Sometimes, healing looks like colour. See less

After a lesson on environmental stewardship, the girls and boys stepped into the community to collect litter on our street. Through this simple but meaningful act, the children demonstrated that creating change begins with small intentional actions.
One of the most encouraging moments was seeing members of the community stop to express appreciation and curiosity about the Foundation and the work being done with the young people. Their words of gratitude reminded us that children are not only future leaders — they can make a difference today.

Celebrating Youth Day with Energy and Fun💖

Our mentees had a fantastic Youth Day in collaboration with Solid Rock Foundation. Through games, teamwork challenges, and interactive learning, they explored leadership, creativity, and how to support one another. 🌟

It was beautiful to see them shine, share ideas, and enjoy every moment while growing stronger as a team. Here’s to our amazing girls – confident, curious, and unstoppable!
