While February symbolizes love in secular contexts, it signifies a period of stewardship emphasis for the Seventh-day Adventist family.

The Kafue mission district has aligned itself with the global church in offering comprehensive stewardship lessons to its members, as stewardship constitutes a fundamental component of the church's mission framework. Without this core element, the church would be rendered ineffective.

At Overspill Company, which is slated to become a church, District Pastor C Chipula ordained new Elders and deacons from various churches within the district.

During the Luangwa Central main service, Associate District Pastor Kelvin Isaiah Katundu delivered a heartfelt homily, reminding the congregation that God demands unwavering reliance from His children. The sermon, titled 'Sinning with an Excuse,' drew parallels between King Saul's actions and the tendency among Christians to lose hope when prayers go unanswered. King Saul had offered a sacrifice when Prophet Samuel delayed in delivering God's message.

Similarly, preachers assigned by the district imparted analogous lessons to congregations in other churches under the mission district's jurisdiction.

Throughout February, the church globally will maintain a stewardship focus as it prepares to proclaim Jesus' imminent return.

Kafue Mission District Youth Inductions Marked with Splendor at Luangwa Central

Kafue Mission District successfully conducted its Youth Inductions across selected churches, with Luangwa Central hosting a particularly memorable celebration on 17th January 2025.

The day was filled with splendor as youths, smartly dressed in their uniforms, officially began the new youth calendar year. The program featured inspiring recitations and well-coordinated drills, setting a vibrant tone for the year ahead.

In his main service homily, which also brought the 10 Days of Prayer to a close, Pastor J. Chanda called upon the church to cast all their cares upon the Lord through prayer, encouraging total dependence on God.

The induction procession was led by MG Jeremiah Kafweni, District Youth Vice President, alongside MG Douglas Mutale, District Master Guide Chair. Their leadership added dignity and excitement to the occasion as the congregation joyfully followed every moment of the ceremony.
