End of 2025/26 Circle Year

On the evening of 18th April 2026, KLC3 gracefully closed the Circle year with a stunning black tie Masquerade Social, held to celebrate a successful year of three fundraisers and four project donations that benefited the Kitwe District for Persons with Disabilities.

The evening was filled with elegance, celebration, and appreciation of all stakeholders that supported the Circle throughout the year.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of gifts to the Chairperson from fellow Circlers, a heartfelt gesture recognising her leadership and dedication. This was followed by award presentations celebrating outstanding contributions of deserving Circlers.

The event was well attended and beautifully supported, creating a fitting and memorable conclusion to a remarkable Circle year.

All the best to the Incoming Circle of the year 2026/27.

31st Annual General Meeting

Kitwe Ladies Circle No. 3 successfully held its 31st Annual General Meeting for the 2025/2026 Circle Year under the Chairpersonship of Towela Mazingaliwa, guided by her inspiring theme, “Uplifting Resilient Hearts.”

The AGM provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the year’s achievements, milestones, and shared experiences. It also marked a significant moment of growth for the Circle, with the induction of two new ladies (Thandiwe Simwanza and Pauline Nama) into the association, strengthening the spirit of fellowship and service.

Further, a new Council was ushered in with the scrutiny of our honorary member Tangent Dorcas Phiri.

In a warm and thoughtful gesture, Happy Socks were presented to all in attendance courtesy of the Circle 3 Membership Convener Agatha Muimui, adding a touch of joy and camaraderie to the occasion.

god mother Duties

Kitwe Ladies Circle No. 3, in their role as god parent to Kitwe Ladies Circle in Formation (in yellow tshirts), proudly accompanied the Circle in formation to a donation drive at Musonda Community School for Vulnerable Children in Kitwe on 1st April 2026.

The donation focused on promoting menstrual hygiene for the girls and motivating the boy child in school ensuring they are supported, empowered and guided on mental health and different career paths.

Various items were donated such as hygiene packs, chitenges, old clothes, stationery, mealie meal, cooking oil, drinks and soya chunks for the school's feeding program.

It was a truly fulfilling day, well spent giving back, sharing smiles, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the children.

KIDAPED Project Handover

This past weekend, we successfully handed over various items to our beneficiaries for this circle year, the Kitwe District Association for Persons Living with Disabilities (KIDAPED).

Notably, we donated underarm and elbow crutches, as well as blind walking sticks. We also completed and handed over the shop at Changamayi Market, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering and supporting persons living with disabilities.

7th Business Meeting ✨

Kitwe Ladies Circle 3 successfully held its 7th Business Meeting this past weekend, marking the conclusion of our business meetings for the circle year.

The meeting was well attended by members and filled with appreciation and celebration. Happy Socks were gifted to members who have shown consistency in attendance of meetings and social events from Madam membership.

A special congratulations to our Vice Chairperson, Agness Ngoma, who was presented with a bottle of wine and a pin in recognition of successfully completing all four check-in points which required members to visit 4 homes of other circlers. 👏🏾✨.

Annual Photoshoot 📸

Kitwe Ladies Circle 3 had a beautiful celebration of strength, unity, and the unbreakable bonds that define our sisterhood.

This was done through its Annual Photoshoot for the 2025/2026 year under the theme:
“Shades of Power with Golden Bonds.”

2025/26 Project Donation

This past weekend, Kitwe Ladies Circle #3 successfully conducted a Skills Development Workshop for members of the Kitwe District Association for Persons Living with Disabilities (KIDAPED).

During the workshop, youths from KIDAPED were empowered with practical skills and start up items in barbering, wig making, and nail design, equipping them with opportunities for self reliance and entrepreneurship.

This initiative was made possible through the generous donations received during our recent fundraiser. Your support continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
