HAPPY YOUTH DAY .
Today we celebrate the power, potential, and promise of young people across Zambia as we commemorate Youth Day. A day that reminds us that the youth are not just the future of the nation, but the driving force of its development.

At Zora Youth Organization, our theme for the year is “I Am the Key.”
We believe that every child and every young person holds the key to transformation in society. The key to development. The key to leadership. The key to innovation. The key to a better Zambia.
When a young person realizes “I am the key,” they gain the confidence to rise.
When youth unite with purpose and vision, they begin to soar.
Today we encourage every young person to unlock their potential, believe in their abilities, and take responsibility for shaping the future of our communities and our nation.
You are the key.
Arise.
And Soar.

🌸 Happy International Women’s Day 🌸
Today we celebrate the strength, courage, and achievements of women around the world.
Women are the pillars of families, the builders of communities, and the voices of change in society. Their resilience, wisdom, and leadership continue to shape a better future for generations to come.
At Zora Youth Organization, we believe that empowering girls and women means empowering the nation. When a woman rises, the community rises with her.
Let us continue to support, respect, and create opportunities for women and girls to learn, lead, and thrive.
Empowering Dreams, Transforming Lives.

OUR THEME OF THE YEAR:
“I AM THE KEY”
A child is not just a future leader.
A youth is not just a tomorrow’s citizen.
They are the KEY — today.
“I Am The Key” means:
I am the solution to unemployment.
I am the answer to community challenges.
I am the driver of national development.
I am the voice of positive change.
I am the foundation of a better Zambia
When we invest in child development and youth empowerment, we are not just supporting individuals — we are unlocking a nation.
At Zora Youth Organization, we believe every child and every young person carries the key to transform society.
This year, we rise with responsibility.
We act with purpose.
We lead with courage.
I Am The Key.
You Are The Key.

8 out of 10 girls are sexually abused — often in their own homes, by people they know and trust.

This is not just a statistic. It is a painful reality happening behind closed doors — in places that are supposed to be safe.

Home should be a sanctuary, not a source of fear. Silence protects abusers. Speaking up protects lives.

To every girl reading this:
Your voice matters.
Your pain is valid.
What happened is not your fault.

Do not stay silent because of threats, shame, or fear of being blamed. Abuse thrives in secrecy, but it loses power when exposed. Tell a trusted adult, report to the authorities, reach out to a counselor, or speak to a support organization. There is help. There is protection. There is justice.

As a community, we must stop normalizing secrecy around family abuse. We must listen without judgment, believe survivors, and act decisively. Protecting girls is not optional — it is a moral obligation.

Girls, speak up. Break the silence. Curb this vice. Let your voice be heard.

Supporting the girl child in menstrual hygiene is not charity — it is a necessity, a right, and a responsibility.

Every month, thousands of girls miss school not because they lack intelligence or ambition, but because they lack sanitary products, safe facilities, and accurate information. When we invest in menstrual hygiene, we protect dignity, promote education, and unlock potential.

Let us break the silence, end the stigma, and build environments where no girl feels ashamed of a natural biological process. Pads, clean water, private washrooms, and menstrual education are tools of empowerment.

Support a girl today — keep her in school, protect her health, and secure her future.

IMAGINE THE BEAUTY OF OUR COUNTRY WHEN WE RISE TOGETHER
Our country is rich—not only in land and resources, but in people, culture, and untapped potential. The true beauty of this nation will not be measured by buildings alone, but by the unity of its people and the strength of its values.
Imagine a country where young people choose hope over fear, service over selfishness, and action over silence. A country where communities lift one another, where leaders are formed through integrity, and where no one is left behind.
That future is possible—but only if we rise together.
Only if we build together.
Only if we take responsibility together.
Every small effort counts. Every hand matters. Every voice matters. When we work as one, we can turn dreams into reality and challenges into opportunities.
The beauty of this country lies in us—in our unity, our courage, and our willingness to build a better tomorrow.
LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND, SHINING LIKE A SHOOTING STAR
Together, let us rise. Together, let us build. Together, let us shine.ZORA YOUTH ORGANIZATION UPLIFTING THE SILENT VOICES

Today, Zora Youth Organization joins the global community in commemorating International Mother Language Day, observed under the auspices of UNESCO. This year’s theme, “Youth Voices on Multilingual Education,” calls for deliberate inclusion of young people in shaping education systems that respect and promote linguistic diversity.

Language is more than communication, it is identity, culture, heritage, and dignity. When young people are educated in their mother languages, they develop stronger comprehension skills, higher confidence, and deeper cultural awareness. Multilingual education improves academic performance, promotes inclusion, and reduces inequalities, particularly among marginalized communities. It ensures that no learner is left behind simply because of the language they speak.

At Zora, we recognize that youth are not just beneficiaries of education systems—they are stakeholders and change makers. We emphasize the need for policies that integrate local languages alongside national and international languages to foster unity without erasing identity. Empowering youth to express themselves in their mother tongues strengthens participation, innovation, and civic engagement.

Zora Youth Organization reaffirms its commitment to advocating for inclusive education frameworks that celebrate linguistic diversity. We will continue to amplify youth voices, promote cultural preservation initiatives, and support platforms where young people can lead conversations on multilingual learning.

As we commemorate this day, we call upon communities, educators, policymakers, and development partners to invest in multilingual education and actively listen to youth perspectives. When young voices are heard in every language, societies grow stronger, more inclusive, and more sustainable.

Zora stands for identity, inclusion, and empowerment—because every language matters, and every youth voice counts.
