Environment and Development in Zambia (EDZ) is an NGO established in 1995 as a non-profit organization with the objective of supporting efforts by rural communities to improve their social and economic development. EDZ identified existing honey production by rural communities as a profitable activity and supported them by purchasing and marketing honey, providing income for the rural poor and diversifying their farming activities
