Maranatha Grassroots Institute Self-supporting ministry registered under the societies Act and privately operated by lay Seventh-day Adventist. It is non profit service organization.

All members comprise the General Meeting which elect the board of trustees. MGI is a grassroots development organization.It seeks to contribute to the eradication of poverty and HIV-AIDS in Western Province of Zambia,through skills training,community health education and information dissemination
