What amazes me is the willingness of people to believe in our vision and donate despite only knowing us through social media.

I met this beautiful soul on TikTok a few months ago. She came across one of our posts, showed keen interest in The Miracle Foundation, and before long, we got connected and she joined our group.

She had wanted to donate for a long time, but the distance was a challenge, as she is based in New Chamboli, Kitwe.

A month ago, after hearing about the new donation drive for our upcoming outreach, she took it upon herself to send her donations by bus.

This evening, we finally received them.

Truly, it can only be God.

Yesterday the 11th of July, I paid a visit to the Dorcas Mothers Rally in Ndola.

As part of community service, i was reminded of Tabitha (Dorcas), a woman who devoted herself to doing good works and making a lasting impact in the house of the Lord.

Seeing our mothers gather for such an impactful rally brought so much joy to my heart. I believe and pray to see more women like Tabitha rise and continue impacting their communities through lives of service, compassion, and faith.

DIARIES OF THE FOUNDATION

The night before the Christmas outreach, I had very little sleep. I woke up with my eyes swollen, and I don't even remember eating that day.

The outreach ended at 12. I had to attend to a few other things in Lusaka before starting off in the evening. I finally reached my boarding house at 04:00.

I woke up fatigued, but my heart was filled with gratitude and so much to process.

A month later, I received the best news ever, and I'm still digesting it right now..

NOTHING CAN EVER REPLACE BEING FAITHFUL TO GOD.

Yesterday, on Mother’s Day, I took my heels and visited Mama Waluse Orphanage. I was so disheartened to see some children, as young as five, growing up without their mothers. Some have mothers who lack responsibility, while others are in denial of their role.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let it be a reminder to remain grateful for the journey God has brought us through. Some of us have had the privilege of growing up with our mothers present from childhood, and in that comfort, we may sometimes fail to truly understand the weight carried by those without that blessing. In doing so, we may also overlook the respect and appreciation our own mothers deserve.

I sincerely encourage us all to appreciate our mothers for embracing the great responsibility of being a mom, not only on such occasions, but by making it a daily habit to cherish them.
