NATIONAL YOUTH CHAIRMAN GILBERT LISWANISO ON PARTY ENGAGEMENT, UNITY, AND CAMPAIGN MOBILIZATION IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE
Speaking during an engagement with party structures in Livingstone comprising provincial, district, constituency, and ward-level officials National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso extended his gratitude to members for their support while making a strong call for grassroots unity ahead of the elections.
"First and foremost, I want to thank you for voting for me and for your constant support. It is because of your backing that the President recognized our collective effort and appointed me to the top six National Management Committee (NMC) leadership," Chairman Liswaniso stated.
Addressing the leadership gathered from across the province down to the ward levels, he emphasized the importance of respecting established structures in party operations:
"I cannot start holding meetings without first meeting the district, constituency, and provincial party officials. When I come into a district, I cannot simply call candidates. I will call the owners of the party the people with the program who know exactly what is happening on the ground."
Addressing internal dynamics, Chairman Liswaniso urged all members to prioritize victory above personal grievances:
"Infightings are inevitable, but unity of purpose is crucial for us to campaign and win big. Let us love, unite, and work together during this campaign period. After August 13th, we can differ if we so wish. But right now, we need to be more united than ever before."
