VISIBILITY FRIDAY REPORT: VOTER CONTACT

Date: Friday, 16 October 2026
Venue: SPAR Tharina Centre
Activity: Voter Contact and Visibility

The SMM team conducted a voter contact and visibility programme at SPAR Tharina Centre as part of ongoing community engagement initiatives.

The activity focused on engaging with community members, increasing organisational visibility, and creating awareness about voter participation. The team utilised the opportunity to interact with members of the public, strengthen community relations, and encourage active participation in the democratic process.

The programme forms part of our continued efforts to maintain a visible presence within the community and ensure consistent engagement with residents.

WARD 10 | CARING FOR OUR ELDERLY

SMM Ward 10 Volunteers visited an old age centre in the ward, spending valuable time with our senior citizens and showing them love, care and appreciation.

Our elderly are the pillars of our communities. They deserve dignity, respect and to know that they are never forgotten.

At SMM, community service is not just a promise. It is something we put into action.

SMM Volunteers Taking Action!

Yesterday, our Ward 14 volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a community cleaning campaign between Angola and Protem, passing through the Roman Catholic Church.

From clearing illegal dumping spots to cleaning our streets, our volunteers demonstrated their commitment to creating a cleaner, safer and healthier community.

Every community deserves a clean environment, and it starts with taking action.
