Western Cape Womens Shelter Movement WSM strives to be the united voice on sheltering of women and their children affected by gender-based violence in South Africa.

Objectives

To advocate and lobby for rights of abused women and their children in shelters ;
To provide a monthly networking meeting for shelters;

To ensure effective and efficient service delivery to women and their children in shelters;

To develop the capacity of WSM shelter personnel

To engage in legislation relating to gender based violence and sheltering in South Africa;

To offer space for mutual support, shared experiences and common challenges.
