Witbank Ladies Circle 26 A group of ladies making a difference in our community. South Africa – May 1981, False Bay Ladies Circle had their inaugural meeting. Now we have 11 Circles!!!

Ladies Circle has its roots in England, where the wives of Round Table members founded the very first Circle in Bournemouth in 1930. False Bay Ladies’ Circle No 1 chartered at WOCO in Cape Town on 29 September 1982 and Bellville Ladies Circle No 3 in August 1983. In July 1992, the inaugural AGM of the National Association of Ladies Circle South Africa was held in Johannesburg. In 1996, we became a full member country of Ladies’ Circle International. There are approximately 12,500 members in 40 countries. The code that defines the role of Ladies Circle, and by which all our members abide, is summarized by our motto: “FRIENDSHIP AND SERVICE”

Mandela Day reminded us that even the smallest act of kindness can create a lasting impact.

This year, our 67 minutes of service turned into a day filled with compassion, connection, and community. Together, we were able to share the love by donating:

🧶 Wool to St Joseph’s Home for the Aged
🐱 Cat food for local feral cat colonies
🥣 152.45 litres of soup, prepared alongside Ladies Circle Edenvale, for Doorway to Dignity
🐾 Cat food for the Witbank Sterilisation Project

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our community.

Every donation you make is returned to our community in a meaningful way. Whether it’s providing much-needed supplies, lending helping hands, or supporting our sister circles in their service projects, your generosity creates a ripple effect of kindness.

This is what Mandela Day is all about. Serving others, standing together, and making a difference where it matters most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported us. Thank you, Witbank, for believing in our mission and helping us continue to serve our community.

🐾💗 The challenge is gaining momentum! 💗🐾

What started as a challenge has already made a real difference!

✅ Witbank Ladies Circle 26 has proudly donated R1 500 worth of food to our local Witbank SPCA. 🐶🐱

A huge shout-out to Edenvale Ladies Circle 6 for answering the challenge and completing their drop-off! 💕👏

Now all eyes are on Round Table Middelburg 126 ... 👀
The challenge is yours! We can't wait to see your donation to your local SPCA and who you'll nominate next.

Together, we're proving that when communities come together, incredible things happen. Every bag of food, every donation, and every act of kindness helps give our furry friends the love and care they deserve. ❤️

We have been busy…🩷
Helping as many as we can, thanks to you!!💛

Because of this wonderful community, we were able to help feed some hungry 🐈‍⬛cats * Feral Care Friends Witbank, we sponsored Nancy Shiba Primary School with Drummy 👯‍♂️outfits and we donated much needed 👶 formula to a 3 week old baby in CMR’s care whose family could no longer look after her/him…

It’s a small drop in the bucket , but we will continue to help where we can 🩷
