URGENT REQUEST FOR HELP
MISSIONARIES CAUGHT IN THE CROSS-FIRE OF REBELS IN MID-NORTH AFRICA, NEED TO BE MOVED URGENTLY
As you are aware, AMO trains and sends missionaries to North-Africa countries, thus Muslim countries/Muslim areas. Two of our missionary families are now caught in the cross-fire of rebels and need to be moved urgently. We can either move them to the next town or to another country (and remember because of persecution the disciples/apostles had to move on to the next place, and in that way, the gospel was spread wider).
These people (our missionaries) has given up all that they know, their comfort and their safety. and their friends and families to go where God called them to go.
Since we started sending missionaries we could send 4 families (we have more than 50 families willing and waiting to go, awaiting funds to make this possible) but the impact they made is very big as 105 Muslim families were converted and came to Christ, many of whom was baptized and most were trained by our missionaries through the AMO Bible school training to make disciples and help them to grow in faith.
What we need is R40 000 to move these families to the next town. This is very urgent as this is about life and death. (To send them to another country cost R100 000 on average per family – that counts for new families that we send as well).
Another urgent need is our radio station that serves all our students and missionaries with program material. Unfortunately we have been offline for the last two weeks and need R10 000 to get us back on track and to be able to continue with the radio station and the work we do.
