The main mission of the Teddy Gives Love Foundation is to use the founders influence on the community to create a charitable and sustainable organization the will contribute to the impoverished and under privileged youth and members of the community. Using an event that has brought an array of influential and important figures to fundraise for a community positive cause. This is the beginning of change for not only our communities but for our country. My dream is to be amongst those who champion the future and stability of our community. We have careful identified all the issues that affect the community and will be committed to creating change ,making an impact and being on the forefront for eradicating social issues affecting our community. Checkers Volksrust and Teddy Gives Love Foundation Partner to Support Child-Headed Families

Volksrust, South Africa - Checkers Volksrust and Teddy Gives Love Foundation have joined forces to make a meaningful difference in the lives of child-headed families in Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Municipality. The partnership was officially launched at a ceremony attended by Mr. Msizi Mnyandu, Assistant Manager of Checkers Volksrust, and Lebohang Msimango, Founder and CEO of Teddy Gives Love Foundation.

The collaboration marks a significant step towards addressing the pressing issue of child-headed families in the community. Teddy Gives Love Foundation, with over 8 years of experience in changing lives, has made it their primary responsibility to ensure these families receive the support they need. Checkers Volksrust has pledged to support this cause and looks forward to a long-term partnership that will benefit communities in and around Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme.

As part of the launch, Checkers Volksrust handed over R3000 worth of groceries to three deserving families, providing them with much-needed assistance. Additionally, a donation was made to Amajuba Memorial Hospital, which is planning an open day and prayer session.

"We are thrilled to partner with Teddy Gives Love Foundation in this worthy cause," said Mr. Mnyandu. "We believe that together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of these families and contribute to the well-being of our community."

Lebohang Msimango expressed his gratitude for the partnership, stating, "This collaboration is a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives. We look forward to working with Checkers Volksrust to create a positive impact in the lives of child-headed families."

The partnership has been welcomed by the community, and both organizations look forward to future collaborations that will benefit the people of Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme.

Public Service Announcement ‼️
It is with regret to inform you that, we will not be hosting our annual colour run this year. This is due to other organizational obligations, which we cannot disclose for now.

However a commitment for a 2024 blast, was tabled by the team & will be upheld. Until then, we wish you a happy Youth Day Commemoration Day ✊🏿

We are at it again. Our annual charity fun Run/Walk on Youth day is finally here. Join us again this year, same venue as last year, we doing it for charity and we will be giving our child headed families food hampers as well as winter blankets.

🚲 will be part this year.

Tickets will be available from today phocapturedmomentsstudio and also will be sold on the venue.

Kindly take note of the following:

No children under 7 years will be allowed.
The Run/Walk is for all, young and old.
Registration will be from 9.30am @ the venue.
The fee is R30 for all participants.
